Total Lunar Eclipse

A Super Blue Blood Moon is entering into its phases as I sit here and type. According to what I just read, the last of this kind occurred in 1866. A super moon in itself appears 14% bigger because of it's close proximity to the earth. This is what the Lord says about the lights He has placed in the sky: Then God said, "Let there be lights in the expanse of the heavens to separate the day from the night, and let them be for signs and for seasons and for days and years; and let them be for lights in the expanse of the heavens to give light on the earth, and it was so."(Gen. 1:15-16)

Also, today is Jewish festival day Tu B'Shevat, "New Year of the Trees" and we know that Jerusalem was just declared by the US and other nations to be Israel's true capital. The new year started with a super blue moon. What is especially amazing is that I was exclaiming to Russ that this has been such a weird, intense, powerful month. And cosmically it has been so. I fully feel this month has been very "janus or two faced" with tremendous ups and downs.

Sabine and Russ are now sitting here so my writing will be a little limited. Sebastian is now awake and we were explaining the rotation of the moon around the earth and the earth around the sun and he said "like a clock?" And then it hit me, it's all the gears of a big celestial clock. I know my idea cannot be original by any means but that the universe and its turning is God's clock marking all of the times and seasons. There was a beginning and there is an ending. I also checked and so far in the past twenty four hours there have been forty one earthquakes.

Lord go before us this day and hem us in and out. Forgive us all of our sins and offenses, blot them out and cover us with your blood in the same way the earth covers the moon with its shadow. As a result, people brought the sick into the streets and laid them on cots and mats so that at least Peter's shadow might fall on some of them as he passed by."(Acts 5:15)
